Pascali loves the sounds of the early '60s. Not just the folk music you would have heard at Lena's, but pop artists like Roy Orbison, Sam Cooke and the Ronettes. 

She also loves stories. Big, exciting stories, like how priests in Sicily were in league with the mafia back in the 1970s. And how her hero, a folk singer named Rosa Balistreri, sang about it when the men didn't have the nerve to speak out. And what it felt like to fight in the trenches of World War I, and pine for a love back home. 

And she loves wine, and gelato, and sharing the allure of her Sicilian heritage with new friends in rooms like ours. Pascali is an adventurer with endless curiosity, a sultry voice, and rock solid guitar chops. An evening with Amanda Pascalli is one you won't soon forget.
