Come celebrate Mother's Day with Fleet Feet Chicago with Altra!
Join us at 6pm, where we'll test out the Altra Experience Flow and Experience Form, two new shoes in Altra's lineup. The run will be 3 miles and will follow the lakeshore path north to Buckingham fountain.
After, stay for an exciting live show featuring the amazing podcast host Lindsey Hein and special guest Alysia Montaño! We'll be talking all things motherhood, including Alysia's career and pregnancy, how to put yourself first while also being a caregiver, and what drove Alysia to found her non-profit &Mother.
Alysia Montaño is an American middle distance runner, Olympian, Altra Athlete, and mom. She is a six-time USA Outdoor Track and Champion in the 800 meters. She gained significant publicity for the 2014 race that she competed while 8 months pregnant. On Mother’s Day 2020, Montaño founded &Mother, a non-profit organization that has worked tirelessly to break down the barriers that limit a woman’s choice to pursue and thrive in both career and motherhood.
Lindsey Hein is a top rated podcast host, race announcer and relatable voice in women's running. She is the host and co-host of two of the most popular podcasts for runners in the Country - I'll Have Another with Lindsey Hein Podcast and The Relay Podcast. Lindsey is also the Mom of four and hosts the podcast for parents "Why is Everyone Yelling?" She has run 17 marathons, completed one half ironman and has coached hundreds of runners to Boston Qualifiers and PRs over the past 10 years. She is also the team coach for the nonprofit Every Mother Counts. Lindsey is passionate about creating and sharing a realistic approach to work, family and fitness.
