An alternative print workshop in Hove.

'Everyone has a garment in their wardrobe or textile in their home that they don't quite love, bring it in to a MINK. workshop & rework it into a cherished, bespoke design.'

Working with a curated set of tattoo-inspired illustrations, you’ll learn to print directly onto your piece using a unique screen-printing method developed specifically for finished garments and interiors.

This is a relaxed, small-group session focused on placement, design and transformation- no prior experience needed.

You’ll have the opportunity to hone your new skill and practice on to patch fabrics provided before printing onto your own piece, guided by experienced screen-printer Rosanna Bishop.

Info: The workshop is run by experienced print designer and screen-printer Rosanna Bishop from her studio in Hove. The workshops are small and hands-on, to ensure each attendee leaves with a new skill and a bespoke textile piece. The workshops encourage circular design practices and improving items we already own with participants bringing items to the workshop to customise. Beginning with a brief introduction to screen-printing, Rosanna will then lead a demonstration and then allow time for all participants to experiment and practise their new skills on to fabric patches provided. Once confident, Rosanna will assist participants to print on to their own textile pieces with whatever designs they like. Participants will then leave with their own improved textile, a custom printed MINK. tote bag and a take-home pack. Complimentary local beverages will be provided.
