Join us for a community film screening of All That's Left of You by filmmaker Cherien Dabis. All That's Left of You is a powerful 2025 drama that follows a Palestinian family across three generations. Spanning from the 1948 Nakba to the 2020s, the film offers a deeply moving portrayal of resilience, identity, and life under occupation.
Doors open at 5:45 PM, and the film screening will begin at 6:00 PM.
This event is hosted by Wura Olusekun, Hiddo Boston and ROYA to create space for reflection and community connection through film.
This is a FREE public event, please rsvp to ensure seating as capacity is limited.
Wura Olusekun is a community organizer with a passion for film, storytelling, and creating spaces that bring people together. Through this screening, she aims to foster connection, uplift voices that are often unheard, and bring attention to social justice issues in ways that inspire thoughtful, solution-oriented dialogue.
HiDDO Boston is a community-based organization that celebrates and preserves the cultural heritage of the East African diaspora in Boston through arts, education, and holistic well-being. It creates spaces for creative expression, learning, and cultural exchange, while expanding access to sharing diaspora culture. ROYA is a multicultural community non-profit organization focused on arts and culture as liberatory praxis.
