About this Event
One of the city’s greatest musical talents will take the stage at All Kinds of Everything in Derry. A powerful voice in contemporary indie music, blending raw emotion with ethereal soundscapes. SOAK’s lyrical vulnerability, reflective songwriting and lush, atmospheric production, as well as engaging live performances, have earned praise for being intimate and immersive affairs.
One of the Mercury Prize’s youngest ever nominees and a Choice Music Prize winner, SOAK has also won the Northern Irish Music Prize, been shortlisted for a Q Award (‘Best New Act’), and taken home the European Border Breaker Award.
Ramper is an alt-folk project based in Donegal and fronted by songwriter Declan Mc Clafferty. The debut album 'Loner' was accepted broadly across Ireland and the UK. Tour dates across Ireland, UK, and Australian helped develop the Ramper live show. There's a duality to Ramper. It exists in a time that's long gone but it doesn't sound traditional. It's melancholic but it's hopeful. Sometimes stream of conscious and sometimes labouring the detail. Recognising it's imperfection and showing them off. Pedal Steel and synth beds hold up sharp observations, widescreen guitars, and out of tune pianos in a good way.
