The Elevator ProjectAlice by Ara Vito is a movement and storytelling-focused adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, told through the lens of a female playwright and ensemble cast of all female and non-binary performers. This production will be the Texas premiere of this exciting new work, and Plague Mask Players is thrilled to be the first to bring it to life for DFW audiences. The play received second place for the Harold and Mimi Steinberg National Student Playwriting Award through the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.

Plague Mask Players (PMP) is a Dallas-based nonprofit theatre with a mission to "Love People, Tell Stories." Their programming, which includes fully staged live productions, new play development, educational offerings, and a virtual performance series with involvement from actors around the globe, is based on the values of empowering, supporting, and developing theatre artists. PMP's live productions are known for bringing fresh perspectives to old classics, with some notable past productions including The Taming of the Shrew in Living Black and White!© presented fully in grayscale as a 1950's sitcom, and an age-bent Romeo & Juliet with the title characters in their 60s.
