Get ready for a 'Tour send-off' Sunday Matinée show at Irene's Pub in Ottawa! Ali McCormick & Vicki Brittle are heading to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to perform a string of shows early June. The Local Ottawa area ladies of folk will be joined by their pals Mudfish from Peterborough for an afternoon of folk Canadiana music.

Ali McCormick
Ali McCormick channels rural Canada into finely tuned folk songs, blending country grit and bluesy phrasing with sharp emotional insight. Vicki Brittle
Vicki Brittle is a Folk/Rock Singer-songwriter from The Ottawa Valley known for her distinct, unforgettable raspy vocals and acoustic melodies that weave through reflective lyricism and unique phrasing. Often referred to as an “old soul”, Brittle brings a memorable energy and presence to the stage. Playing festivals like Bluesfest, Festival of Small Halls, Mariposa Emerging Artist Showcase and opening the stage for artists like Sass Jordan, Logan Staats, Jon Bryant and many more, Brittle is proving to be one to watch in the Canadian folk music scene.
Mudfish
Mudfish is a roots-driven duo made up of Tex Mudslide (guitar, banjo, fiddle, harmonica, vocals) and Georgia Fisher (mandolin, guitar, vocals) that blends deep blues, energetic folk and gritty Americana.
Tex Mudslide is best known as the frontman for blues/rock band The Hounds of Thunder, bringing rock & roll energy to acoustic roots music.
Georgia Fisher is a Peterborough-based singer/songwriter who brings a gritty, alt-country take to the stories and characters she’s collected.
Live performances are a mixture of originals and covers that run from bluegrass and classic country to acoustic blues to folk and pay tribute to influences like Townes Van Zandt, The Band, John Prine and Bob Dylan.
