About this Event
Join us on a fascinating tour of the Albert Memorial which will take you behind the railings.
- Get a closer look at the Frieze of Parnassus and other fine details of the greatest monument of the Victorian era.
- Hear about Victoria and Albert’s relationship, Victoria’s response to his death and the story of how the monument came to be built in this very distinctive style.

Please note:
- This walk is aimed at adult attendees, over 18 years of age.
- Due to the steep steps up to the Albert Memorial, the second half of the walk is not accessible for people in wheelchairs, with reduced mobility, or with buggies.
- You are unable to bring dogs behind the railings of The Albert Memorial due to the special character of the monument.
- We offer free spaces for those in need. For more information on eligibility and how to book please call 0300 304 9910 or email [email protected].
