we are proud and excited to announce the very first Albanian Film Festival in Berlin!
This is a landmark event celebrating the creativity, vision, and growing international presence of Albanian cinema. For five inspiring days in March multicultural Berlin will become a meeting point for powerful stories and bold voices, as we present around 20 films by Albanian filmmakers from across the world.
Albanian cinema is vibrant, courageous, and deeply human, shaped by a rich cultural heritage and a new generation of filmmakers who explore identity, history, migration, tradition, and contemporary realities with originality and artistic depth. From intimate personal stories to socially engaged narratives, these films reflect both the roots and the modern evolution of societies in Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and diaspora.
Join us for a unique cinematic celebration that brings together filmmakers, audiences, and film lovers to experience outstanding films, discover new talent, and celebrate Albanian storytelling on the big screen — hosted at the unique ACUD Kino, one of Berlin’s most iconic independent cultural venues.
