Alan & Carole Prior at The World's Room, Aberdeen

The World's Room is the haven for unaccompanied traditional singing. The guests kick off with three songs followed by spots from the floor (chosen from whoever is in the audience) and the guests finish the half with another three songs. There is short break follwed by the same format in the second half.
The guests Alan & Carole Prior are from Edinurgh. They are well know for their powerful voices and sing individually as well as together, sometimes with a sprinkle of Harmony! They have been guests at festivals throughout Scotland, UK and Ireland. They sing a variety of traditional and more recent songs (in a traditional vein). Alan is fond of a Burns song or two and Carole likes to dabble in songwriting and setting poens to tunes. Most notably her tune for Violet Jacob's Baltic Street has become a favourite with many other singers. They are delighted to have been invited to sing at the World's Room.
Entry £7 on the door, BYOB and there will be a raffle. Doors open 1.30pm
