We're celebrating Akron's Bicentennial with a new fanfare — featuring the brass and percussion sections of The Cleveland Orchestra.Witness the world premiere of "Festive Fanfare (For Akron's Bicentennial)" —composed by Peter Boyer and commissioned by Tuesday Musical’s Myers New Music Fund.
Featuring an array of festive works and as a nod to Tuesday Musical’s past tradition of presenting The Cleveland Orchestra (TCO), the Akron Bicentennial Concert showcases TCO’s brass and percussion sections, led by TCO principal trumpet Michael Sachs. Boyer will conduct his new "Fanfare for Akron".
