About this Event
Airworthy Documentary Premiere ✈️🎬
Hosted by Aviation Institute of Maintenance – Chicago
Join us for a special screening of Airworthy, a powerful documentary from Auroris Media that follows a group of young women from Chicago’s South Side as they pursue careers in aviation maintenance under United Airlines’ trailblazing Chix Fix team.
In an industry where fewer than 3% of aircraft mechanics are women, these students balance family, ambition, and opportunity while preparing for a high-stakes international skills competition that could shape their futures. Their journey highlights the next generation of aviation professionals and the expanding role women are playing across the industry.
