About this Event
Navigating the early years of practice comes with big questions—and real responsibilities. Built for AIA10 and newly licensed architects, this half-day workshop offers practical tools, insight, and help navigating the next steps in your career.
All members of AIA are welcome to this event, presented by AIA10 of AIA Phoenix Metro. The lineup of experienced professionals will tackle the topics that matter most right now: protecting yourself from professional liability with Marlene Imirzian, FAIA; understanding money management in architecture with Jacob Benyi, AIA; exploring the transition from career growth to leadership with Michelle Acosta, AIA; and strategies for overcoming collaboration conflicts and building stronger, more effective working relationships with Tara Brown, AIA. The day will also include a dynamic panel featuring Jerry Greer, AIA, Aaron Bass, AIA, and Geoff Cox, AIA, who will dive into alternate career paths within and beyond traditional practice, offering perspective on the many ways an architectural education can evolve.
Whether you’re refining your professional foundation or exploring what’s next, this workshop offers actionable guidance, conversation, and the opportunity to connect with peers navigating the same stage of practice.
