About the Speakers
Guest Speaker - Aaqib Azeem
Aaqib is Google Canada’s lead subject matter expert on AI and Machine Learning. He supports Google Cloud’s top enterprise customers across the country, helping them to inform their AI initiatives. Aaqib brings extensive experience from his previous role as the head of technology of a leading Conversational AI startup in Toronto, which was successfully acquired. Before his work in tech, he was a management consultant for Deloitte, advising Fortune 500 executives on AI strategy and data transformation. He also holds a Master’s in AI Management and a Bachelor’s in Mechatronics Engineering. Join Aaqib at our upcoming AI Workshop, where he will share insights on leveraging AI for innovation and growth.
Facilitator - Zahid Aga
Zahid is a recognized leader in AI Governance and Digital Transformation, currently driving Responsible AI practice at Bank of Montreal(BMO). With over 15 years of experience across financial services and consulting, Zahid has led large-scale initiatives in AI, data strategy, ERP, and CRM, ensuring innovation aligns with regulatory and ethical standards. He holds an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and multiple certifications in AI governance, data management, and project leadership. Passionate about bridging technology and business, Zahid empowers organizations to adopt AI responsibly while delivering measurable impact.
