Raymond Higgins, National Chairman of the NVS, hails from the Midlands in Ireland and has been growing and exhibiting vegetables for over 30 years. He is one of Ireland’s most respected figures in the world of competitive vegetable growing.
Raymond has won the prestigious All-Ireland Potato Championship and the All-Ireland Collection of Vegetables Championships on multiple occasions. Raymond’s talk will cover the world of growing vegetables in Ireland, from practical growing techniques to the excitement of exhibiting at top-class shows.
He will also give a fascinating insight into one of Ireland’s most unique horticultural events, the All-Ireland Potato Championship.
