Agile Coaching Certification (ICP-ACC) Live-Online Course

Most Agile professionals simply stop learning after they complete a CSM or CSPO course and never go beyond the basics. What they discover is that Agile Coaching and Leadership takes much more rigor in order to become effective in changing an organization's culture, mindset, and behaviors. To be successful in coaching Agile is to achieve full understanding of Agile capabilities including leadership, change management, facilitation, and others.

The Agile Coach Bootcamp is designed to advance your mastery of Agile so that you're prepared to coach team members, managers, and executives.

This three-day, online interactive learning experience focuses on coaching agile teams. In this class, you'll learn the basics of professional and agile coaching/mentoring and learn multiple ways of working interactively with teams.

As an outcome of this course, participants will be eligible for the ICP - ACC certification. The full three-day course must be completed before certification will be issued.

Damon Poole, co-author of Professional Coaching for Agilists (Addison-Wesley), has been working as a software development entrepreneur in the product and Agile Coaching spaces for over 20 years. He has coached and trained thousands of people at companies such as EMC, Capital One, Oanda, Ford, and Fidelity. As a coach of coaches at Eliassen, Damon led the Agile Delivery team which grew to hundreds of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches in the field.

He is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach, International Coach Academy Certified Professional Coach, and ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching.

In addition to coaching, he offers courses on both Agile Coaching and Professional Coaching. Damon frequently presents at local and international Agile meetups and conferences such as the Agile Alliance Conference, Play4Agile, and Agile and Beyond, and is a huge believer in learning from others. He also co-created a series of popular Agile games such as User Story Games, Agile Coaching Games, Heroes of Agility, and a small collection of online games. This element of learning through play is a consistent element in all of his work.

To participate in the online course, you'll need the following:

• A quiet, comfortable place to be for the duration of the class
• Choose an area without distractions
• Be mindful of managing potential interruptions (e.g. children, pets, etc).
• Computer (desktop, laptop, or tablet)
• Camera and microphone (we'll have virtual breakout rooms)
• Headset to filter out room noise
• Internet connectivity

• Breaks – The course will include frequent breaks to allow time away from the screen, time to stretch your legs, and check on friends/family.
• Video Required – You'll be working with others in video breakout rooms. It's a unique way to engage with your classmates and dive deeper into discussions.
• Tools – Our coaches have incorporated easy-to-use websites and online collaboration tools to support their lessons.

A 90% refund will be issued for cancellations made in 14 days or more from the start date of the course. For cancellations made in less than 14 days, we will allow a one-time transfer into the next available course. All cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected].
