In the heart of winter, this workshop offers a pause - a chance to slow down, focus your hands, and reconnect with yourself and others through craft.
Designed for complete beginners (or those returning to making), this after-work session introduces the basics of crochet in a calm, welcoming environment. More than just learning a new skill, the evening is about experiencing the quiet satisfaction of making, the rhythm of stitches, and the restorative power of shared creative time.
Inspired by the psychology of Flow - a state of deep focus and enjoyment - the session is gently structured to help you:
- Learn at an unhurried pace
- Feel supported and at ease
- See visible progress by the end of the evening
- Leave with a skill you can return to at home as a wellbeing ritual
No prior experience is needed. Everything is provided, just bring your curiosity and a desire to slow down.

On selected dates (1st, 18th & 24th February), we’ll be joined by Terri, who will be offering short, optional hand massages during the session.
This is a simple, calming addition designed to support relaxation and focus while you craft, entirely optional, and offered alongside the workshop flow.

About your hosts
The session is guided by and Gloria, who bring together craft, design, and a shared belief in making as a way to slow down, reconnect, and care for ourselves in everyday life. Their approach is gentle, inclusive, and focused on creating a welcoming space for beginners. You’ll be working with natural yarns by Wovenbeyond: soft, grounding, and a pleasure to work with.
If your plans change
Our workshops are intentionally kept small to create a calm, supportive experience, which means each place really matters.
For this reason, tickets are non-refundable. However, if something unexpected comes up, please get in touch, we’ll always do our best to help you move your booking to another date where availability allows.
If we ever need to cancel a session, you’ll be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule to a future date.
