If you are looking for a space to try some Afro, to dance to your favourite current and throwback Afro tunes, and to exercise at the same time...this is where it's at!
AFRO LOVE with Bee is a space that celebrates the art of dancing to Afro inspired music in its varying forms; exploring both the sensual feminine energy of dancing to the softer Afrobeats in heels 👠and catching all of the musicality, footwork and vibes when dancing to more upbeat Afrobeats in trainers 👟
Dance Levels 💃🏾🕺🏿
This class welcomes all levels of dance experience, and is perfect for trying Afro style dance as a beginner, as someone familiar with the style that wants to further develop skills and build confidence, and anyone wanting to just enjoy dancing as if you were alone in your bedroom...because that's where it started for most of us right 😇 and don't worry, heels are always optional, and there will always be enough of a challenge for the more experienced dancers!
What to Expect 🤝🏾
• Warm Up - dance and stretch to your favourite Afro songs to get into the vibes!
• Foundation & Knowledge - a break down of key moves and where they originate from
• Choreography! - Tailored for all levels and abilities
• Performing & Filming - this is 100% optional, you are more than welcome to take videos on your own device, and opt in or out of performing and being in any class filming
Class Schedule 🗓️
This class runs on the first Wednesday of each month! The heels & trainers styles alternate each month.
