The African Drumming and Dance Ensemble, joined by the Worlds of Music class, presents an evening of authentic West African drumming, singing, and dancing. The program features traditional music and dances primarily from Ghana and Nigeria, highlighting the deep connection between rhythm, movement, and community in West African cultural traditions. In these traditions, drumming, singing, and dance function together as a unified form of expression used for celebration, storytelling, and social gathering.
