About this Event

Join us for the networking event of the African Arts Collective — a new space created to uplift, connect, and celebrate African artists living and working in Northern Ireland. This is our first-ever gathering, and we’re bringing together creatives, cultural workers, community members, and supporters for an evening filled with culture, conversation, and possibility.

Whether you are an artist, performer, writer, designer, musician, curator, or simply someone who loves African creativity, this event is for you.

What to Expect
  • A warm, vibrant atmosphere where artists can meet, connect, and build community
  • Open conversations about the realities, challenges, and opportunities for African artists in Northern Ireland — especially in Belfast
  • A space to share ideas on how we can grow, collaborate, and strengthen our presence in the arts sector
  • Food, music, and cultural expression that reflect the richness of African heritage
  • Networking opportunities with creatives, organisers, and supporters
  • A chance to shape the future of the African Arts Collective from day one

This gathering is more than an event — it’s the beginning of a movement to create visibility, support, and meaningful pathways for African artists across NI.

Who Should Attend
  • African artists of all disciplines
  • Creatives interested in collaboration
  • Cultural organisations and community leaders
  • Anyone passionate about African arts, culture, and representation

Why You Should Come

Because your voice matters. Your experience matters. Your creativity matters.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of something new — to help build a collective that represents and supports African artistic excellence in Northern Ireland. Come share your ideas, your challenges, your hopes, and your vision.
