About this Event
Laura Maynard is a cast member and instructor at Boom Chicago, Amsterdam. She has trained and performed at the big three Chicago Theatres: iO, Second City, and The Annoyance. She was at Gather Festival last year, but this is her first time to Belfast!
Requirement: Participants must have completed a LV2 Improv course or equivalent.
Saturday 10 - 5: Creating Sketch Comedy from Improv
This workshop is perfect for improvisers who have always wanted to do sketch comedy but have no idea where to begin. Take all the skills you already hold as an improviser and apply them to crafting your own hilarious and unique sketches- no script required!

Sunday 2 - 5: Walk-On, Walk Off
Master the art of a great walk-on in this long form editing workshop. We will look at how to make all edits feel more important to every scene, focusing on walk-ons specifically, and then take what we learn about them to examine how we can strengthen other long form editing moves.
