About this Event
Africa Day is a commemoration of the founding of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) in 1963 on May 25th. The OAU, now African Union - AU, celebrates the remarkable strides and acknowledges the success of the pan-African movement that campaigned for Africa’s independence.
This year we celebrate the 61st year of determined efforts to unite the African people and we are delighted to welcome you to a Networking reception with leaders from the African Diapora
Casa Foundation connects various Ecosystem groups across diverse industries to a global audience for meaningful networking, knowledge sharing, and to spotlight notable BIPOC Businesses and their accomplishments. This year we focus on the excellence of BIPOC businesses from the African Diaspora and will look to conncet them to value creating partners that could provide inroads into business in Africa. The event will gather a prestigious line-up of businesses, academicians, and policymakers.
The program will include a panel session that will explore opportunities for growth in sustainable investment and development in African Countries by Canadian entrepreneurs.
The event will also mark the graduation of the 6th Cohort of the Black Advisory Hub (BAH) Accelerator. The Black Advisory Hub is a national program integrating the socio-professional inclusion of the Canadian Black Community through innovation.
