Coach Hinshaw is coming to DISTRICT Battersea!
The Aerobic Capacity Course for HYBRID Training & Racing is HYROX® approved. This innovative course is specifically designed to equip coaches and athletes of all experience levels with tailored strategies to excel in the unique challenges of HYROX® and other hybrid racing events. The subject matter in this course focuses on optimizing cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular stamina, and resistance to fatigue to maximize overall performance across various functional movements encountered in competitions.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Understanding fatigue and its effects on athletic performance.
- Balancing energy systems to optimize cardiovascular fitness for HYROX®.
- Applying Zone 2, lactate threshold, and VO2max training to maximize personal goals.
- Mastering muscle fiber assessment, recruitment, and stamina building for HYROX®.
- Perfecting warm-up techniques crucial for HYROX® success.
- Implementing lactate training to boost performance in HYROX® obstacles.
- Learning to monitor fatigue with effective breathing rhythm and cadence.
- Designing personalized workouts aligned with HYROX® goals.
- Identifying performance gaps and improvement areas in HYROX® athletes.
