2025. december 14-én ezt a szép hagyományt szeretnénk Budapesten folytatni – a tangó erejével, jótékonysággal és közösséggel.
Szeretettel hívunk minden tangóst és érdeklődőt az Adventi Jótékonysági Tangóbálra, hogy együtt emlékezzünk Ferenc pápára, aki egész életében a szegények támogatását tartotta egyik legfőbb küldetésének. A bevétel teljes összegével rászoruló gyermekek karácsonyát tesszük szebbé. ❤️

A belépés ingyenes, de kérjük, hogy lehetőségeidhez mérten adományoddal járulj hozzá rászoruló gyermekek ünnepi ajándékaihoz.
Az összegyűlt adományok 100%-át a Cipősdoboz-akciónak adjuk át, akik karácsonyi ajándékokat készítenek és osztanak szét:
- az arlói rászoruló gyermekeknek,
- a Gyökerek Tábor által támogatott gyerekeknek,
- valamint menekült rászoruló családok gyermekeinek.
A rendezvény teljes költségét (terem, DJ, oktatók, fellépők, technika, büfé stb.) a szervezők felajánlásként vállalják, hogy minden beérkező támogatás a gyermekekhez jusson.
? Tangó, emlékezés, szeretet
Ferenc pápa fiatal korában maga is táncolt Buenos Airesben – a tangó különösen közel állt a szívéhez. Ezen az estén megidézzük a tangót, amelyet ő is szeretett, és tisztelgünk kedvenc tangózenésze: Juan D’Arienzo, a „Ritmus Királya” előtt, aki épp ezen a napon született 125 éve.

In memory of Pope Francis – a celebration of love, community and togetherness in Budapest
On December 17, 2014, thousands of tango dancers gathered at St. Peter’s Square to celebrate Pope Francis’s 78th birthday.
On 14 December 2025, we would like to continue this beautiful tradition in Budapest – through the beauty of tango, the joy of giving, and the strength of community.
We warmly invite all tango dancers and anyone interested to the Advent Charity Tango Ball, where we will come together to remember Pope Francis, who throughout his life considered the support of the poor one of his most important missions.
All donations received during the event will help make Christmas brighter for children in need. ❤️

? Charity – coming together for children in need
Admission is free, but we kindly ask you to support the Christmas gifts of children in need with a donation, according to your possibilities.
All donations collected at the event will be given 100% to the Shoebox Charity Project, who prepare and distribute Christmas gifts to:
- children in need in Arló,
- children supported by the Roots Camp (Gyökerek Tábor),
- and refugee children in need.
All event expenses (venue, DJ, teachers, performers, equipment, refreshments, etc.)
are covered by the organisers as a donation, so every contribution goes entirely to the children.
? Tango, remembrance, love
As a young man in Buenos Aires, Pope Francis himself danced tango, and the dance remained close to his heart throughout his life.
On this evening we evoke the dance he loved – and honour his favourite tango musician, Juan D’Arienzo, the “King of Rhythm”, born exactly 125 years ago on this day.
