You're invited on Sunday, December 14 for Advent Lessons and Carols! 9:30am at HTLakeview (1218 W Addison).The Holy Trinity Choir has been working hard in preparation for this special liturgy which we hope will enrich your Advent experience. The choir has grown each fall with new members, and will be singing from the front of the church assisted by guest accompanist Beau Surratt.
An overarching theme in the readings and music will focus on Mary—her heart, her calling and her response to God's voice. Featured will be an exquisite setting by English composer Herbert Howells of Magnificat—Mary's response to the call of God to bear the Savior. Insight into the heart and character of Mary's openness is seen in the text of Prayer of Mother Teresa in a moving setting by Craig Courtney.
