Class will cover advanced casino combinations that might involve nudos, tunnels, under arrest moves, syncopated footwork, alardes and other advanced casino variations. As a result, there is a prerequisite of required knowledge...
Prerequisite Knowledge:
This class assumes you already know the 3 basic positions closed, open, fallen as well as secondary positions rodeo and promenade and the basic turns and transition moves from those positions. Must know the rueda version of enchufa, exibela, vacila, rodeo, saloneo, p'abajo/florea, dile que no.
Be prepared to think outside of the box as you will learn how to change your footwork from the linear rueda format to be optimized for dancing circular casino format with consistent spacing and flow.
This class will incorporate different aspects of what you find in Triangle, MCC/MC3 methods combined with my own methods and experience from years of dancing socially and observing street dancers in Cuba and elsewhere knowing what works and doesn't work.
