About this Event
This interactive training event is designed to empower health and aged care professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage in meaningful advance care planning (ACP) conversations.
Participants will explore key aspects of advance care planning and build confidence to support individuals to express their views, wishes and preferences, and to apply best practice when healthcare decisions need to be made.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this workshop, participants will:
- Develop an understanding of contemporary advance care planning
- Build confidence to have advance care planning conversations with people in your care
- Develop knowledge and confidence to support people document their wishes and preferences
- Develop knowledge and confidence to enact best practice when healthcare decisions need to be made
- Learn about reputable advance care planning resources and information to continue professional development
