Come along to the Nook for 2 relaxing hours of dedicated creative time on a Friday!12pm to 2pm on the third Friday of the month.
This session has a freestyle process art focus. This means we’re more interested in the experience of experimenting with the materials and themes, rather than the outcome.
This is a chance for you to sink into your creative practice without the distractions from home, and the expectations of finishing ‘good’ art. Make a cuppa, relax to some chill tunes, and get to know some other local creatives while you do your art thing.
What’s included?
- Each week Rhi will prep a theme and have certain materials on the tables for you to explore (for example, this week it may be charcoal still lifes, next week it may be abstract mixed media, and so on).
- This is not a tutored class. Rhi will give an introduction to the materials and be there to provide guidance and answer questions if needed, but for the most part she will be exploring the themes alongside you.
- Complimentary tea and coffee available. BYO lunch, snacks, other drinks.
