Adult Beginners: Core Roller Skating Skills 8 Week Course [Islington]

Welcome to Adult Roller Skating Lessons!

Come join us at the Westbourne Community Centre (located just behind the small parade of shops)for some roller skating fun! Whether you're a beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, our experienced instructor is here to help you glide with confidence. Lace up your skates and get ready to roll with us!

Beginners Core Roller Skating Skills [8 Week Course]

You'll learn to skate with me within a safe and supportive environment. Both complete beginners and those wanting to refresh their core skills are very welcome. Get ready to level up while have fun!

We'll cover:

• Saftey considerations

• Your first steps/roll

• Controlling your roll!

• Stopping in a variety of ways

• Edging/Carving & cornering

• Turning from front to back (and vice versa)

• Skating backwards in a variety of ways

• Basic skate maintenence

• Benefits of a skate community (& more!)

Note: this course is for 16+ students.

Please bring your own skates and protective wear as they will not be provided.

This course is based in Islington -north london (5 mins from caledionan road underground station.

Where: Westbourne Community Centre, Roman Way, N7 8XF.

When: Friday's.

Time: 5pm - 6.30pm.

Important note: Roller skating isn't without its risks! Please be aware that you particape at your own risk. Skate Base and its instructors will not accept any liability for any injuries incurred).

Do - wear loose comfortable clothing and supply/fit your own protective gear (knee, shin and elbow pads, wrist guards and safety helmet) to reduce the risk of personal injury.

Don't - forget to bring water!

Do - be ready to have fun as you advance your roller skating skills!

Doors open 10 mins prior to class starting.
