Our Adult Beginner Chess Class is designed for anyone looking to learn chess from the ground up in a fun, supportive, and structured environment. Whether you're completely new to the game or returning after years away, this class will help you gain confidence and build a strong foundation step by step.

Over four weeks, you’ll:

Learn the board, piece movements, and essential rules

Understand basic checkmating patterns and simple tactics

Discover opening principles to start each game with a plan

Practice real-game strategies to improve decision-making

Taught by experienced coaches, this class makes learning chess simple, enjoyable, and stress-free. By the end, you’ll feel comfortable playing with friends, family, or even at local chess clubs.

Signing up on Eventbrite reserves your child’s seat but does not include payment for the class. Payment must be made before class or at the location.
