As you know, the need for addiction recovery in Wisconsin is tremendous. The alcohol-related death rate in the state is 20% higher than the national average, with more than 27,000 alcohol-related deaths since 2014. Currently, alcohol-related deaths stand at 15.8 per 100,000 residents, while drug-related deaths have reached 30.6 per 100,000.
With over 60 years of experience, the Adult & Teen Challenge program has a proven track record. According to a national study of 74 centers conducted by Evangel University:
78% of graduates remain sober
91% report improved family relationships
92% report no new legal issues
At approximately $110 per day, compared to about $1,550 per day for a standard 28-day inpatient facility, Adult & Teen Challenge Wisconsin delivers life-changing outcomes at a significantly lower cost to families and communities, and ATCW never turns any individual away due to inability to pay.
What makes our model distinctive is its length and depth. This is not a short-term detox program. Residents commit to a full 12-month residential program built on four key pillars:
Faith-based residential living
Work therapy
Education and job readiness
Long-term aftercare
When individuals complete the program, they leave with a renewed foundation in Christ, sustained sobriety, a restored sense of identity, and a strong support network for long-term success.
Adult & Teen Challenge Wisconsin also offers a transitional AfterCare program for graduates—addressing one of the most critical gaps in the recovery journey.
