About this Event
What can you expect?
Introducing our ADHD Book Club - it's a book club, but not in the sense that you know it!
There will be no selected book to read each month - instead this is a space for book-lovers with ADHD to talk about what they're reading, exchange recommendations and discuss what's next on their reading list.
There will be conversation starters to frame the discussion, but let's be honest, we're ADHD so tangents are expected (and welcomed)!
When will the event be running?
Our ADHD Book Club will be taking place from 7pm until 9pm on 27th November 2024.
If you can't make this particular event, we'll be holding monthly book club meets on the last Wednesday of each month.
There's no pressure to arrive at 7pm or stay until the very end - feel free to come and go as you please.
Do you need to have an ADHD diagnosis to attend?
No, not at all! Many of our group members suspect they may have ADHD, or are waiting for a diagnosis, and find it validating being in the company of other neurodivergent individuals.
Where should I go when I arrive?
We’ll be in The Library area of Tempest, which is the semi-private room just behind the bar on the left-hand side. You'll see ADHD Connect signs on the tables.
How much will the event cost?
The event is £3 per person. Please buy a ticket before you arrive. This will cover future event costs and any surplus will enable us to host more events in the future!
If you'd like to come along but are out of employment, or the cost is a problem, please email [email protected].
