Founded in 2020 by Zoe Brooke, SCI addresses the unique challenges in the UK construction industry, where insolvency rates are among the highest, with over 4,000 firms failing annually. Following the collapse of Carillion in 2018, SCI was formed as an industry-led volunteer task force advocating for a resilient UK construction sector.
