About this Event

Add+VantageMR® Fractions empowers educators to use diagnostic assessments and learning trajectories to guide the teaching of fraction topics. This blended learning and practice-based professional development within AVMR courses, allows participants to work directly with students. Participants gain a better understanding of students' current knowledge and how to help students advance.

AVMR Fractions is a 3-month long virtual course of independent, self- paced learning activities alongside a series of 8 collegial team meetings. Participants can expect approx. 60-120 additional minutes each week of self-paced online learning modules, course reading, and time to implement assessments and instructional activities with students.

No prerequisites required

Dates: January 29, February 5, February 19, March 5, March 12, April 16, April, 30, May 7

Times: 4:00 - 6:00PM

Location: Virtual

Cost: $650 includes AVMR Fractions registration kit

Event Capacity: 20 participants

The deadline to register is January 20, 2025

*Workshop may not run if enrollment is less than 15 participants. In the event of a cancellation due to low enrollment full refunds will be issued.*

Refund Policy:

Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to this event will receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made between 180 and 30 days of the event will receive a 50% refund minus a 10% processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event.
