About this Event
This is a taster talk which will be of most interest to sixth form students. However, all those interested in human geography and related degrees are welcome to attend.
As an undergraduate geographer, you will explore and research a vast array of spatial topics deeply linked to UK health and political crisis.
This short talk and film screening explores the research of a Lecturer in Health Geography. It focuses on a research project which explored the housing activism of a collective of Somali mothers in Birmingham.
The talk introduces students to participatory and creative methods which can illuminate the causes of entrenched health inequalities in the UK, and will guide students through the breadth of our BA Geography degree programmes.
