About the Artist
is a Mississauga-based multidisciplinary artist working in illustration, concept art, and contemporary practice. She holds a BFA from OCAD University.
Her work explores the idea of cuteness by subverting familiar imagery to reveal deeper, sometimes unsettling layers. In her contemporary practice, she uses the concept of the garden to examine relationships between natural and synthetic materials.
About the venue
is a cute, colourful, fun, weird (and slightly unhinged) concept gift shop and community space in Parkdale, filled with cute stuff for your cute life.
Designed to feel like a dream apartment, the shop is organized into cozy “rooms” featuring stationery, home goods, smoking accessories, sex toys, and tiny treasures that might just become your new personality. Loohoo hosts artsy workshops, themed markets, and wholesome community events — and the space is also available for private rentals, photo shoots, and creative gatherings.
