AcroYogaAcroYoga combines elements of yoga, acrobatics, and Thai massage. The smallest group to practice is three people: the “base” on the ground, the “flyer” lifted by the base, and the “spotter” ensuring the safety of base and flyer. For this reason, you're welcome to come alone or bring your friends along.
It is a fun and challenging way to develop strength, balance, and flexibility, as well as to build trust and communication skills with partners.
Dynamic AcroYoga workshop
Dynamic AcroYoga movements require both strong foundations as well as precise technique. In this workshop, we will cover both highly technical details that will improve the quality of your movement and provide challenges to push the limits of what you can achieve. Based on the level of the participants, we will adapt the material, ensuring everyone receives as much challenge as they desire. It is essential to meet the prerequisites to make the most out of this workshop.
Content - Intro to Whicarians
We will start from the foundations of whips and Icarians and build on them. Based on the level of the class we might propose several different ways to combine whips and Icarians. Knowledge of the material presented in previous workshops will highly benefit this workshop.
Target group and prior knowledge
The workshop is for those with some prior experience in AcroYoga. Ability to comfortably base or fly ninja star, as well as holding 30s handstand against the wall are highly recommended to benefit from the material of this workshop
Note - the workshop will be taught in English. The teachers also speak Swedish, Spanish, and Italian.
Structure and pricing
3 hours, with breaks. The workshop fee is 550 SEK at full price, and reduced to 400 SEK for students or the unemployed. Please indicate in the comments section if you qualify for the reduced rate. Register through the link.
Teachers
Fabio De Ferrari and Diana Lagerkranz are two passionate and experienced teachers who bring their unique perspectives to their classes.
Fabio, a certified AcroYoga international teacher, is originally from Italy and has been teaching at retreats, festivals, and workshops in the USA, Europe, and Asia. His practice aims to build community and empower people through mindful movement. With attention to detail, he believes AcroYoga to be for any-"body", focusing his classes on safety, fun, and positive mindset. Co-founder of SummerDream Fest, the annual acro gathering in Tuscany, he started building communities in Italy in 2006 and hasn't stopped ever since.
Diana is a certified yoga teacher and scuba instructor who loves teaching and watching her students evolve and become more comfortable with their practice. AcroYoga has been a huge part of her life, practicing and teaching in Europe and Asia for several years. Diana's experience encompasses a wide range of disciplines, from dance to acrobatics, giving her a unique perspective on the practice.
