But the excitement doesn't stop there! Our workshop begins with a 30-minute Zumba class led by our experienced instructor Patricia Alvarado. This lively session promises to leave you sweaty and energized infused with the pulsating beats of Latin and world music.
Following this exhilarating Zumba experience seamlessly transition into our one-hour Merengue workshop led by our experienced instructors Junior and Carolina. You'll be guided through each step with precision and enthusiasm creating a fun and supportive environment for learning. Merengue isn't just about dancing; it's about connecting with the music feeling the rhythm pulse through your body and letting go of inhibitions as you move to the beat.

Who are Junior and Carolina?
Meet Junior "El Show" Aquino and Carolina Bustamante the dynamic duo behind our Merengue workshop at Odenplan!
Junior Aquino born in the Dominican Republic in 1987 discovered his passion for dance at a young age. With a background in bachata salsa and traditional dance styles Junior quickly rose to prominence in his hometown of Bonao organizing competitions and events. Since 2021 he and Carolina co-run Keloke Dance Studio in Stockholm specializing in Dominican dance styles.
Carolina Bustamante hailing from Quindío Colombia fell in love with dance early on. Moving to Sweden in 2007 she immersed herself in dance eventually specializing in bachata and merengue. With her captivating style and dedication Carolina has become a sought-after instructor and performer worldwide. Together with Junior she leads their dance school and dazzles dancers with her feminine and sensual flair.
