H.G. Welp and the Center for Theatre Research present the first Soft Sounds at Center. A totally stripped totally acoustic evening of music. No mics, no cables, just four artists making music organically. Including:
- Casey Dalrymple is a string musician working, writing, and playing within the tradition of American folk and Celtic music. Hailing from New Jersey, he calls Queens home.
- Zarif is a Queens native who plays music that blends influences from classical, jazz, samba, and folk music from both eastern and western cultures. He is a guitarist.
- Prayer is a NYC-based music project created by Olivia De Salvo. Prayer blends pop music, lullabies, swirling guitar and synths that dance with acrobatic vocals. The songs explore themes of love and illusion. Prayer’s debut is set to be released soon.
- H.G. Welp is a Multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter from Miami, Florida who has been the House Composer at Center since 2022.
