He is based in Providence, Rhode Island and is a member of the Soundz Organic Collective. He interweaves influences from bass music, meditative sound healing, and natural organic elements to create his sound. An Ace On Earth set is a journey ranging from high energy dubs to introspective downtempo and everywhere in between. He caters his song selection to create safe spaces for connection and exploration.
Returning to lead our warm up this week is Simcha Rachel Guttenplan. Simcha is the Founder of This Wholly Life, is a nomadic ceremonialist, visual artist + facilitator currently in residence at Milkweed Medicine in Hamilton, NJ. She plays many roles, blending the archetypes of mystic, somatic worker, facilitator, medium, sacred sounder, brander, photographer, and mentor. She guides with inspiration from the ancient wisdom of Mystic Judaism, Kabbalah, and Kundalini, alongside embodied healing practices such as Reiki, Theta healing, sacred sounding, and somatic work. Her mission is to be a forever student + teacher of what it means to claim this life WHOLLY (Whole + Holy). Through allowance, presence, prayer, intention setting + integration practices: she invites you into the mystery, for us to remember and return to our most wholly selves. This opening ceremony will invite you to set your intention for the evening's dance. We'll begin with a kundalini-inspired opening with a breathwork experience, followed by a guided movement meditation to support you in tuning into your body's wisdom and discover what intention wants to emerge for your dance journey.
