Samantha Copeland leads KPMG New Zealand’s Financial Crime consulting practice and has been working with local and global clients in designing, implementing and reviewing their AML/CFT programmes.

Will Irving, Senior Partner, Russell McVeagh
Will Irving is a Partner in Russell McVeagh's Auckland litigation practice. Will has a particular focus in financial services and regulatory enforcement, and regularly advises Phase 1 and Phase 2 entities on compliance with the AML/CFT Act, as well as acting in investigations and litigation commenced by the AML supervisors.
Martin Dilly, Director, Martin Dilly AML
Martin has consulted full-time as an AML/CFT specialist since 2012. He has assisted entities across every sector of capture through the provision of audit, consulting, and training services in New Zealand, Australia, Samoa, and Vanuatu.
Prior to forming Martin Dilly AML, Martin commenced his career as a corporate solicitor at Russell McVeagh and held senior legal and compliance roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. – New Zealand and with Heartland Building Society as Head of Compliance. During his time with Heartland, Martin also acted as company secretary for NZSX-listed company, Heartland New Zealand Limited. Martin was also a director of AML Solutions where he was responsible for running the delivery team that assisted over 700 clients across every sector.
Martin is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and was the first person in Australasia to gain the CAMS Audit advanced certification. He has been internationally recognised by being appointed to the ACAMS teaching faculties for CAMS and CAMS-Audit.
Jamie Lynch, AML/CFT Compliance Officer, Russell McVeagh
Jamie is an AML/CFT and risk management expert and is the Compliance Officer at Russell McVeagh, he has a strong background in regulation and compliance, including impactful work at the DIA and expertise in risk consulting and S.59 audits.
Katherine Le Quesne, AML/CFT Compliance Officer, Kiwibank Limited
Katherine has worked in AML/CFT since 2002; starting in the UK before moving back to NZ in 2011 to work through the implementation of the AML/CFT Act in NZ. She has been the AML/CFT Compliance Officer with Kiwibank since 2019.
