Tutor: Penny Rowland Hill of Penygwyn DesignsHave you ever wanted to create abstract paintings like Barnstaple Blue, as dispalyed in Barnstaple Pannier market, but were unsure where to start?
In this workshop you will learn the design principles behind such paintings and use pattern-making techniques to inspire you and act as a framework to create your own, unique abstract picture.
All equipment and materials provided.
10am-1pm.

About Penny:
Artist and craftsperson Penny, has over thirty years experience as an artist/educator, and in creating artworks in a variety of media.
Penny is passionate about the arts, and in sharing that enthusiasm with others. She has worked on commission with groups of all ages and abilities, sharing skills and encouraging participation in creative activities. In her arts practice, she has a fascination with exploring the relationships between identity and the natural world, organic structures , textures and pattern.
