Workshop Description
Discover the magic of watercolor in this hands-on workshop. We will explore foundational techniques such as washes, wet-into-wet blends, dry brush, and layering to create beautiful, dynamic paintings. We will also delve into the meditative process of abstract watercolor, inviting free-form expression, relaxation, and creative flow. Whether you are brand-new to watercolor or have some painting experience, this class will help you gain confidence with color mixing, water control, and brushwork. No prior experience is necessary; just bring your creativity and curiosity.

Descubre la magia de la acuarela en este taller práctico. Exploraremos técnicas fundamentales como lavados, mezclas húmedo sobre húmedo, pincel seco y capas para crear pinturas hermosas y dinámicas. También profundizaremos en el proceso meditativo de la acuarela abstracta, invitando a la expresión libre, la relajación y el flujo creativo. Ya sea que seas nuevo en la acuarela o tengas algo de experiencia en pintura, este taller te ayudará a ganar confianza en la mezcla de colores, el control del agua y el manejo del pincel. No es necesario tener experiencia previa; solo trae tu creatividad y curiosidad.

As the Founder of dA Workshop Studio, I have cultivated a collaborative space where imagination thrives and artistic proposals come to life. My work is a journey of exploration and self-expression, diving deep into the realms of design, art, and education. Through CAMINARTE, an innovative art walk project led by Mission Vibrant in the Mission District, I contribute to the creation of dynamic public art experiences that engage communities and transform urban spaces.
With over 10 years of experience in multidisciplinary arts and community cultural projects, I am deeply passionate about nurturing creativity and empowering others through art. My recent projects, such as Creative Senses: Artsy Session and my involvement in the Ventura Orbit Foundation, highlight my commitment to using art as a tool for personal and collective transformation.
As an art instructor at Ruth's Table Gallery, I teach classes like "Painting Emotions" for the Shanti Project community, creating a space where individuals can explore their emotions through art in a supportive and healing environment.
I am a bilingual communicator fluent in English and Spanish, facilitating cross-cultural exchanges and bridging artistic traditions. My work celebrates the diversity of our world, exploring the beauty of different perspectives through art. Whether through exhibitions, workshops, or collaborative projects, I strive to create spaces where creativity and community engagement intersect.
