Free concert and fun vibes! Come hear ABP Chamber Winds** perform "Song Book" on Sunday June 14 at 2 PM in the West Albany HS band room.*Our program is full of jazz, pop, and cinematic influences that modernize and stretch classical sounds. Including:
🎼 Song Book, Vol. 3 by Ivan Trevino for flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, and percussion
🎼 Sextet by Alec Wilder for flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, and marimba
🎼 Divertimento by Malcolm Arnold for flute, oboe, and clarinet
🎼 Waves & Rapids by Bruce W. Tippette for trumpet, horn, and piano
🎼 Quartet: Cantilena by Bill Douglas for flute, oboe, bassoon, and piano
*Where's the door? Enter through the back of the APAC on the southwest side of the building, off of Liberty street.
**What's ABP? It stands for 'A Bene Placito,' translated as 'up to the performer.' We're a self-directed group of adult musicians and local Albany music teachers who perform a wide variety of challenging chamber music that's fun to play and easy to listen to... just because we love it! Join us!
