About this Event
Get Ready for Above 110 — An Industry Night!
Above 110th Street in Manhattan, our culture has never needed validation.
From the Harlem Renaissance to Tito Puente to Teyana Taylor — the artists, writers, directors, and dreamers who built the world's most imitated creative tradition have always lived and worked above 110th street. But for too long, the industry events meant to connect us have been happening somewhere else.
Harlem Cinematic Universe is changing that.
Above 110 is an Industry Night built for and by the creative community of Harlem and Upper Manhattan. If you're an actor, screenwriter, playwright, songwriter, singer, producer, director, or crew creative — this night is yours.
What to expect:
- A complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival
- Extended Happy Hour all night
- Live performance by Apollo Amateur Night artist Michael Reid
- Asian-inspired bites at Bixi Harlem
- An exclusive space reserved for the night's guests
- Real connections with emerging and established artists who actually live and work uptown
This isn't a downtown event that added "Harlem" to the name. This is the real thing — hosted where the culture lives, for the people who create it.
Come as you are. Leave with your next collaborator.
