Alex Wier
Alex Wier is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Wier / Stewart. A 1997 graduate of the University of Georgia, he has been at the helm of the agency for close to two decades. In that time, he has conceptualized, designed, written and overseen the execution of thousands of creative projects spanning all manner of industries and complexity. His work has been featured in myriad publications, including Creative Arts, Print, and How magazine to name a few. Since its inception, W/S has won multiple national Addys and superlative awards for business categories ranging from higher education to travel and finance. He has a Ted Talk under his belt in addition to speaking at the things Daniel mentioned with the exception of Ole Miss.
Daniel Stewart
Self-taught and self-effacing. Daniel (or D, as we like to call him) is a creative by nature and business guy by accident. He’s a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia and his graphic design work has received national accolades from the American Advertising Federation as well as industry publications like Communication Arts and Print Magazine. And if you’ve met him, he’s a bit of a talker… both around here and at industry conferences and institutions like SkuCamp, Creative South, Dig South, Converge, The Southern Coterie, University of Georgia, Ole Miss and Augusta University. These days, as agency President and Director of Partnerships, he’s responsible for balancing the fun and the financials of the agency. And, attracting the right kinda folks to the agency (OKGs).
