About this Event
Pop down to the Priory for a free stained glass 'window' making craft session, part of our free City Day celebrations.
One of the oldest buildings in Southend, Prittlewell Priory has seen over 800 years of local history. Beginning life as a medieval Clunic priory, before becoming a private Tudor house and then Victorian family home, the site is now a Grade I listed visitor attraction and surrounded by one of Southend's most popular parks.
Join Southend Museums at Priory Visitor Centre from 1pm-3pm for a drop in craft session, where you can create your own mini stained glass window inspired by local history. The mini windows will form part of a display in the Priory Visitor Centre across the weekend to celebrate this year's 'City Day'. While you're there, make sure to have a wander around the building for some design inspiration!
Pre booking is not essential for this event, all activities are drop in throughout the day. However, we would recommend reserving a free ticket to receive any communication ahead of the day.
