About this Event
A Trusted Space, the Series, is a free, easy to access film and curriculum resource available to educators, students, and families. These resources offer ingenious support to educators, administration, counselors, and classified employees, not only in their own work with students and staff, but also for use as catalysts to bring those resistant to change along. Our work as public educators, no matter our title, calls for us to lead our school communities to outcomes that serve not only the whole student but also the whole educator, which in these divisive times can be challenging. A Trusted Space, the Series, can make it easier.
Behavior challenges, mental health decline, withering attachment to school, and continued aggression toward public school servants are but a few of what the public education ecosystem is navigating. Trusted Spaces establishes hope and skill development through diverse ‘in the trenches’ voices of students, teachers, counselors, administration, and education experts (including Dr. Mary Helen Immordino-Yang, Dr. Pedro A. Noguera, and Raghu Appasani, MD).
This research-based and evidence-informed series focuses on the most current neuro and social science, the critical aspect of personal well-being, and relevant, practical tools that can be used to develop Trusted atmospheres where students AND those who serve them can flourish.
A Trusted Space, the Series is both respite and a call to action, join this webinar and leave feeling seen, heard, and inspired to start a new school year with sharpened tools and honed skills.
This free, for-credit webinar is just one of many running as part of Share My Lesson's Summer of Learning series. Register now to watch them live or later on demand.
