A Tribute to the late Steve Taylor will be held to commemorate this talented man and his achievements. Steve Taylor was a formidable drummer and, in my books, a legend in this town and beyond. A consummate musician, he had a style and approach that will not be rivalled or duplicated and that was distinctly his own. Steve played with the likes of Willie P. Bennett, Ray Condo, The Yo-Dell's, The Jazzmanian Devils, The Do-Rites, Cousin Harley, Harp Dog Brown, Kelly Haigh, Rick Taylor, Mike Van Eyes and countless others including his own bands, Drum Boogie, Washboard Lucky, and The Royal Cajun Band. He is, and will continue to be, missed very sorely. RIP Steve Taylor and I sure hope you're casting a line and laying down a groove wherever you may be. Swing brother swing!
