A legendary bandleader, pianist, and mentor, Steen dedicated his life to preserving and elevating the rich jazz heritage of Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood—often called the Harlem of the West. As the founder of The Five Points Ambassadors, Steen brought together some of the city’s finest musicians to keep the spirit of jazz alive through soulful performances rooted in tradition, culture, and community.
This special tribute will feature The Five Points Ambassadors performing a soundtrack of timeless jazz classics in honor of Steen’s enduring influence and musical legacy.
